Lemon slices

Hello! :)
Have You realized that it's August already? Time flies too fast.
If You haven't enjoyed summer yet this year, go ahead, go to a beach, explore a city, or relax for a moment with a good novel, to have some good memories.
Or if You already did that, bake a cake like this, to make Your holiday sweeter. :)

It's a crater kind of cake, it means that inside the sponge some tablespoons of  pudding can be found, that was spooned randomly to the batter.
I have a chocolate crater cake recipe on this page as well, if You would like to see that. :)
These one, the Lemon slices much more fit to summer. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
  • 350 g= 1   3/4 cup flour
  • 250 g= 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 tbsp of baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 dl= 3/4 cup of milk
  • 2 tbsp of lemon juice
  • 0,5 dl = 1/5 cup of oil
  • 0.5 lemon peel rasped
  • -----
  • 1 package of vanilla pudding
  • 3 dl= 1 cup of milk
  • 2 tbsp of lemon juice
  • 3 tbsp of sugar
  • lemon peel rasped
  • 1 lemon
  • -----
  • 3 tsp of lemon juice
  • 30 g= 2 tbsp of icing sugar
Preparation:

1. Mix the eggs with the sugar, than add all the ingredients from the upper column. Mix them well.

2. Cook a vanilla pudding, but before that, add lemon juice to it, and rasp some lemon peel as well into that, so it will have a lemonish taste.

3. Lubricate a baking tray with butter and sprinkle some flour on it, and pour the batter into the tray.

4. Preheat the oven to 200 degree Celsius.

5. With a tablespoon spoon the lemon pudding randomly to the batter.

6. Cut the lemon into pieces, and without the cores put them to the batter as well.

7. Bake it for about 40-45 minutes.

8. Make a glaze from lemon juice and icing sugar and lubricate the top of the cake with it.

Wait 1 hour, to let it cool down, and then You can slice it up! :)
Enjoy!
